Assessment

Our mission consists of serving the Division of Student Affairs in its assessment, research, and strategic planning needs to further departmental and divisional goals and priorities. The department’s vision comprises providing high-quality data, reports, training, and guidance for individual departmental and divisional needs. 

Our Values

Validity: Our measurement and data analysis techniques are sensitive to decision contexts and produce results that are sufficiently timely, accurate, and precise.  

Collaboration: We, along with students and other stakeholders, work together to conduct assessments that benefit the students and the division.   

Transparency: We share the steps in the assessment process, the reasoning behind them, and both positive and negative data results to the greatest extent possible.   

Efficiency: We make the assessment process as streamlined as possible while preserving the integrity of the data.   

Reflection: We spend time analyzing and thinking through the process and results to improve our departments and future assessment.

The Research Analyst assists the Director and other departments with various assessment activities, including instrument design, data analysis, and research. The position additionally coordinates with the collection of departmental annual reports, research summaries, and strategic functions.

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
