We are dedicated to providing quality service to the students, faculty and staff of UNCW.

Units Operating Within the Controller's Department

Accounts Payable We are responsible for timely and accurate payments of vendor invoices, establishing vendors in our financial system, and collecting tax information for vendors. Visit Accounts Payable Department
Accounts Receivable We manage external billing, contracts, grants and all other bills outside of Student Accounts. Visit Accounts Receivable Department
Fixed Assets We maintain data on movable equipment campus-wide, record and perform annual inventories, and provide timely reports and information regarding departmental assets. Visit Fixed Assets Department
General Accounting We preserve the integrity of the university’s general ledger and cash management functions. Visit General Accounting Department
Payroll We process salary and wage payments to all UNCW staff, faculty and student employees timely and accurately. Visit Payroll Department
Tax Compliance We provide the University with tax planning, guidance, compliance, interpretation, reporting and training in all related areas of taxes Visit Tax Compliance Department
Travel & Direct Pay We provide travel information and guidance for employees, non-employees, and student groups. Learn More About Travel
