  • Helps faculty develop and refine their research agendas while also sharing internal and external resources available to them
  • Possible Discussion Topics: positioning research, research goals, project ideation, brainstorming, establishing collaborations, and project pivots
  • Assists faculty in using SPIN, UNCW’s external funding database
  • Provides strategic guidance and assets for engaging contacts at grantmaking agencies and foundations
  • Consultation to ensure alignment with funding mechanism and to evaluate key concerns relating to project competitiveness
