Welcome to the Educational Technology Unit (ETU)
The ETU partners with Watson College of Education (WCE) faculty and staff to support teaching, learning, and professional practice.
Some of the services we offer include:
- Course design and Canvas support for online, hybrid, and face to face instruction
- Workshops and consultations on effective, accessible teaching strategies; and hands-on assistance with instructional tools.
- Dedicated expertise in technical troubleshooting, technology purchasing and installations, equipment inventory, and collaboration with campus IT to ensure reliable and secure systems
- Watson College of Education website development and maintenance, graphic design for digital and print materials, and strategic social media management and promotion for WCE.
- Specialized services for edTPA and NCPPA portfolio support, training workshops for teacher interns & K-12 instructional technology
Mission
The Education Technology Unit advances the Watson College of Education’s mission by collaborating with faculty and staff to provide accessible technology resources and professional development. The unit intentionally engages faculty and staff in implementing technology to facilitate student success and continuously improve teaching, learning, and professional practice.
