The Precollege Programs team offers a range of programs and initiatives. The team aims to bridge the gap between high school and higher education, ensuring that all students have the resources and support they need to succeed.

A Solid Foundation

From academic enrichment activities and college readiness workshops to mentorship programs and financial aid guidance, the department is committed to informing students as they reach their educational goals and realize their full potential.

Precollege Mentoring Program A free two-year college preparation and mentoring initiative to identify high-achieving students from North Carolina high schools—particularly those with limited college experience—who aspire to pursue higher education at institutions like UNCW.
